Moving on

In the late nineties I lived for a period in a Buddhist Temple of my Tai Chi Kung Fu Master. After nearly a year my Master announced he had to go to Seattle for a ceremony conducted by his Buddhist Master. It was inconvenient because he girlfriend was in late stages of pregnancy and couldn't travel.

While he was gone a number of things happened , his girlfriend when into labour and his daughter "Enya" was born the same day/time as the Buddhist ceremony. there was a beautiful rainbow as I visited them in hospital.

Over the same period that my Master was away, The manager of the Temple told me he was increasing my rent to a level that was unaffordable to me. As luck would have it a colleague at work was renting a spare room in their flat in Forest Hill at a good rate. I moved out of the temple as quickly as I moved in. It was a lovely flat but my new landlord was very particular about keeping it clean and tidy so I found myself tip towing around, it felt as though everything I did would make a mess . My new landlord was a fierce character. They later got a job as a "Food Standards" Health and Safety Inspector, The perfect job for them.  I moved on after several months returning to Hoxton. My experiment in South London done.
