When I first moved to London I had a friend Kris Genius . He was the first I knew to spell it with a K perhaps a nod to KRS1. I've always associated that spelling with Hip Hop.
After finishing uni I spent a summer in The USA. I was there working on camp listening to Wu Tang Clan and Naz that first reall began to understand the cukture. It was there I first read the book Communion Christopher Walken starred in the film adaptation.
My brother is a Cris so the name has been close to me all my life. Lately we had a new Chris join our Judo Club ( JAC's ) the lead coach and co founder along with his wife Jo is also Chris.
