Apart from music from artists like Massive Attack , Tricky and more recently Idles.

Possibly the two things that have done most to raise the profile of Bristol in recent years are:

1) Hot air ballooning, as exemplified by the annual  International Balloon festival.

2) The urban stencil/ graffiti artist "Bansky", who did a piece "Girl with the red balloon".
