We are devastated to announce the passing of coach Richard Stevens

Rich has been a coach at Japan Arts Centre for more than 20 years as well as lead coach at Weston Super Mare Judo Club and previously assistant coach at Bristol University Judo Club . 

His judo career started many years ago  with Gerry Hicks at Bristol Judokwai . 

He shared his knowledge with thousands of Judoka over the years.

Thanks Rich for your dedication, we will all miss you 💔
